We were recently pleased to receive a prestigious commission to make 25 chairs for the the new reading room at the John Rylands University Library, Deansgate, Manchester.

Using European Oak and red leather these chairs are both comfortable and attractive.

Given that we normally make chairs either singly or as a batch of six to acompany a dining table and that much of our work is carried out by hand, this represented quite a substantial order for our company.

The John Rylands library is scheduled for completion by Autumn 2006 so these chairs can be seen upon opening.
