Peter Hall & Son are one of the longest standing fine furniture workshops of its kind in the UK. Over the last 44 years, our belief in the highest quality has always been the guide for our cabinet makers ambitions to be the best.
The skills and experience required to make fine furniture at such high standards are rare and hard to come by. To ensure these skills are kept alive, we train our staff through four year apprenticeships at our workshops in Staveley, Cumbria.
When buying furniture from Peter Hall & Son you are supporting young people learning these valuable craft skills.
The quality of our furniture starts with the materials: we select locally grown hardwood trees; quarter-saw each one to use the best of the timber; and season them on site for years. This ensures the highest quality and stability.
Our fine furniture and craftsmen have received awards for the unique quality of our work. Most importantly, over 80% of our clients return to order from us again.
Inspired by the famous waterfall above Ullswater in the Lake District, we wanted to explore how we could combine the fluidity of the ‘waterfall’ into a beautifully functional chest of drawers.
